Maintenance and upkeep of the starter motor
Regular Inspection
Check the starter for any damage to its appearance and loose wiring.
Check if the solenoid switch, one-way clutch, drive gear, and other components are functioning properly.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Clean dust and oil stains from the surface of the starter to prevent short circuits or corrosion.
Check the wear and tear of the brushes and replace them if necessary.
Usage Notes
Each start-up should not exceed 5 seconds, and the interval between two start-ups should be greater than 15 seconds.
Avoid frequent engine starts to prevent the starter from overheating.
